Okura Cookware is operated by a company based in the United States. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of our website and to all purchases made through the site. By visiting the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

2. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian, to use this website.

3. Product Information

Our products—including Japanese style knives and titanium cookware—are shipped directly from our partners, mainly located in Japan and other international regions. We strive to provide accurate product descriptions, but slight variations in color, size, or packaging may occur due to manufacturing or batch differences. Images are for illustration purposes and may differ slightly from the actual product.

4. Pricing & Transparency

All prices are shown in U.S. Dollars (USD) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
You will never be charged more than the amount shown at checkout—no hidden fees and no unexpected charges at delivery.
In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

5. Order Confirmation

After placing an order, you will receive an email confirming receipt. This confirmation does not constitute acceptance.
A binding agreement is formed only when the products are shipped.
We reserve the right to cancel an order before shipment in cases such as pricing errors, stock issues, suspected fraud, or technical problems.

6. Shipping & Delivery

Processing time: 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays) after payment is received.

Shipping origin: Products are shipped directly from our international partners, primarily in Japan. You will not be charged any additional customs or import fees beyond what is shown at checkout.

Estimated delivery time: 5–12 business days after shipment, depending on destination and carrier.
Occasional delays may occur due to customs or logistics.

Total estimated time from order to delivery: 6–15 business days.

Tracking: When available, a tracking number will be emailed to you. We work with trusted international and domestic carriers.

Partial shipments: If your order contains multiple items, they may arrive in separate packages.

7. Returns – 14-Day Withdrawal Window

You may request to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, with no need to provide a reason.
Contact us at support@okuracookware.co.uk with your order number to request cancellation.

8. Returns & Refunds

Return conditions:

  • Products must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging.

  • Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of receiving the item.

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer (unless the product is defective or incorrectly delivered).

  • For hygienic and safety reasons, used knives or cookware showing signs of use cannot be returned.

  • Customized or personalized items are non-returnable.

Return address:
Returns are processed through an international facility. Contact us for the correct return address and instructions.

Refunds:
Refunds are issued within 14 days after we have received the returned product or valid proof of shipment.
Refunds are processed using the same payment method used for the original purchase.

9. Damaged or Incorrect Products

If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, notify us within 7 days at support@okuracookware.co.uk, including clear photos.
After verification, we will offer either:

  • A free replacement, or

  • A full refund, including original shipping costs.

10. Payment & Security

We accept secure payment methods including major credit cards and PayPal.
All transactions are processed via encrypted SSL connections.
We do not store any credit card information.

11. No Additional Customs or Import Fees

We cover all applicable taxes, import duties, and processing fees.
If you unexpectedly receive a customs bill, contact us immediately.

12. Intellectual Property

All website content—including text, images, logos, and product information—is the property of Okura Cookware or its licensors.
No content may be reproduced without written permission.

13. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products.
Our maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the product in question.
Your statutory consumer rights remain fully intact.

14. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to transportation issues, natural disasters, strikes, or customs delays.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes may be brought before the competent courts in the state where our business is registered.

16. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website.
By continuing to use the site, you agree to any updates.

17. Misuse of Pricing or Technical Errors

If an order was placed by intentionally exploiting a technical error, glitch, or pricing issue, we reserve the right to adjust or cancel the order.
If products were obtained at a significantly lower price than intended, we may adjust the quantity or value based on our standard pricing guidelines, with a reference price of £12 per unit unless otherwise stated.

18. Lifetime Warranty

Okuracookware.co.uk offers a lifetime warranty on its cookware. Under this warranty, the Customer is entitled to receive a replacement pan free of charge if the original pan becomes unusable due to a manufacturing defect or material failure and cannot reasonably be repaired.

This lifetime warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or signs of use, including but not limited to scratches, discoloration, stains, cosmetic marks, or other surface wear that occur through regular cooking, cleaning, storage, or general use.

A replacement will be provided only when the pan is genuinely defective or broken in a way that makes it no longer functional. For example, major dents, structural damage, or a handle that has detached and cannot be repaired.

To make a warranty claim, the Customer must contact OkuraCookware.com by email at support@okuracookware.co.uk. Okuracookware.co.uk may request clear photos and/or additional information to assess the claim and confirm eligibility. Upon approval of the claim, a replacement pan will be shipped at no cost to the Customer.
